Hardware Technician:
Support hardware development and sustaining engineering activities through hands-on laboratory work, including PCBA-level failure analysis, product validation, test setup preparation, and sample coordination. Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, ensure equipment readiness, and generate reliable test data to support engineering decisions, product quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Do:
- Conduct PCBA-level root cause analysis to troubleshoot defects, identify failure mechanisms, and drive resolution.
- Prepare bench-level test setups and perform product validation activities to verify functionality and performance requirements.
- Coordinate the procurement of materials and samples to support engineering development, testing, and validation activities.
- Support the evaluation of existing product issues related to design, including manufacturing defects, quality concerns, and performance-related problems.
- Support and follow up on reliability testing activities for current production products and new product development initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment by ensuring that equipment, workbenches, and materials are properly used, handled, and stored.
- Conduct bench-level testing and validation of firmware updates on PCBAs, identifying and resolving issues prior to production implementation.
- Support product compliance efforts by conducting validations and reporting activities to ensure adherence to BHMA, FCC, and other applicable qualification and regulatory standards.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, incomplete studies in the field, or equivalent professional experience in a related discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in the electronic industry.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and circuit debugging.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- English communication skills, both verbal and written (desirable).
