Domain Persona: Industrial Operations Operations Research Planner & Capacity Architect
Key Core Tables: SKU, PRODUCTIONMETHOD, BOM, RES, RESEFF, PLANORDERS
Differentiated Responsibilities:
Constraint-Based Network Modeling: Translate complex, multi-stage manufacturing plants, production line
capacities, infinite vs. finite resource windows, and multi-tier Bill of Materials (BOM) into linear programming or
heuristic solver configurations.
Master Production Scheduling (MPS) Optimization: Configure the ESP solver engine to resolve complex
trade-offs between manufacturing asset utilization (OEE), raw material constraints, vendor capacities, and
cross-plant component sharing.
Target Role-Specific Experience & Skills:
Proven track record handling multi-plant, highly constrained batch-manufacturing environments (e.g., chemical,
food processing, or high-volume consumer packaging).
Deep operational mastery over master data structures governing production yields, setup-times, changeovers,
and co-product/by-product logic.
Advanced capability to debug ESP solver logs, analyze constraint traces, and explain linear optimization paths
to plant managers.
