Key Responsibilities:
Preventive Maintenance
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on plumbing and sanitary systems.
- Inspect pipelines, valves, pumps, water tanks, and drainage systems.
- Check water pressure, flow rates, and system performance.
- Clean and maintain drainage lines, floor traps, grease traps, and manholes.
Corrective Maintenance
- Diagnose and repair leaks in water supply and drainage systems.
- Repair or replace damaged pipes, fittings, valves, faucets, mixers, flush valves, and sanitary fixtures.
- Clear blocked drains, sewer lines, and sanitary systems.
- Attend work orders and emergency breakdowns within agreed response times.
Installation Works
- Install new plumbing pipelines, sanitary fixtures, and accessories.
- Modify existing plumbing systems based on operational requirements.
- Assist in plumbing renovation and refurbishment projects.
Water Supply & Drainage Systems
- Monitor and maintain domestic water supply networks.
- Maintain sewage and stormwater drainage systems.
- Support maintenance of transfer pumps, booster pumps, and associated piping.
- Ensure proper operation of water storage tanks and related accessories.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Follow all HSE policies, permit-to-work procedures, and site safety requirements.
- Use appropriate PPE during maintenance activities.
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained at work locations.
- Report unsafe conditions and potential risks immediately.
Documentation & Reporting
- Update maintenance records and work orders.
- Record materials and spare parts utilized during maintenance activities.
- Report recurring defects and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist supervisors in preparing maintenance reports.
Qualifications:
- ITI Certificate, Trade Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Plumbing.
Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in building maintenance or Facilities Management.
- Experience in residential towers, commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels, or government facilities is preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of domestic water supply systems, drainage, sewage, and sanitary systems.
- Ability to interpret plumbing drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of pumps, valves, water heaters, and sanitary fixtures.
- Familiarity with PPR, CPVC, UPVC, HDPE, copper, and GI piping systems.
- Skilled in leak detection, pipe fitting, and plumbing repairs.
