Project Director
About this role
- Provide end-to-end leadership for multiple projects from concept through completion.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines and resource requirements.
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and in line with quality standards.
- Align project delivery with organisational strategy and growth objectives.
- Lead feasibility assessments, project structuring and investment planning.
- Drive value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives across projects.
- Oversee project budgets, cost control and financial performance.
- Monitor project profitability, cash flow and financial risks.
- Review and approve major expenditures, contracts and procurement decisions.
- Manage relationships with clients, investors, consultants, contractors and regulatory bodies.
- Provide regular updates and reports to executive management and the Board.
- Lead negotiations on major contracts, partnerships and project agreements.
- Identify and manage project risks, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards and company policies.
- Promote strong governance and internal controls across all projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field.
- A Master’s degree (MBA or related) is an advantage.
- Professional certifications (e.g., COREN, RICS or equivalent) is an advantage while PMP is mandatory.
- 10 – 15 years experience in project management within construction, engineering or real estate.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects successfully
