The Production Data Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely execution of production transactions within the company’s ERP and warehouse management systems.
This role supports 2nd shift production operations by ensuring job creation, material tracking, and inventory data accurately reflect physical production activity. As the company transitions to live inventory tracking, this position will play a key role in maintaining system integrity and operational accuracy.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Current State (Pre-ERP Go-Live)
• Enter completed production jobs into ERP system
• Record ingredient and raw material consumption
• Validate finished goods quantities against batch records
• Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies
• Support end-of-shift reporting accuracy

Future State (Post-Go-Live / Live Environment)
• Create and release production jobs in ERP system• Validate materials and bill of materials (BOM) prior to production start
• Monitor production transactions during shift
• Ensure accurate lot tracking and material consumption
• Identify and escalate transaction errors
• Partner with production and warehouse teams to maintain inventory accuracy
• Support inventory variance investigations

QualificationsEducation/Training/Certifications: High School Diploma / GED

Related Experience: 1–3 years experience in manufacturing, inventory control, or data entry

Knowledge/Skills Experience

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic to intermediate Excel skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Professional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a manufacturing ERP system
Food manufacturing experience
Familiarity with lot tracking and material consumption reporting
