Position Summary

The Facility Technician is responsible for supporting the daily maintenance, repair, and upkeep of facility infrastructure and equipment across the site. This role ensures that building systems, utilities, and general facility operations remain safe, functional, and compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements. The Facility Technician works closely with maintenance, operations, and safety teams to address facility needs and support uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems including lighting, plumbing, doors, flooring, and general building infrastructure.
Monitor and maintain facility utilities such as HVAC systems, compressed air, and basic electrical components.
Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs.
Respond to facility work orders and complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
Assist with equipment moves, installations, and facility modifications as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance and facility areas.
Support preventative maintenance programs for facility equipment and infrastructure.
Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized repairs or maintenance are required.
Ensure all work complies with company safety standards, GMP requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and completed work orders.

QualificationsQualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2+ years of experience in facility maintenance, industrial maintenance, or related technical field

Preferred

Basic knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to walk, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance tasks.
Ability to work in manufacturing environments including hot or cold areas.
