Earn up to $250 after 90 days of continuous employment. 

Hours per Week – Full Time

Shifts: Variable

 

Safely and compliantly drives 44 seat passenger bus to transport military passengers over specified routes to local points on Fort Sill Army installation, according to time schedule. Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort. Complies with local traffic regulations, and reports delays or accidents to transportation motor pool (TMP).


Responsibilities

  • Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, and follow all DOT, OSHA, and installation safety rules.
  • Load and unload personnel safely using proper equipment and techniques.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and dispatchers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly and assist with general support tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with installation access and security requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records, and logs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Must have current and valid CDL A or CDL B license.
  • Clean driving record for past seven (7) years.
  • Ability to pass a DoT physical.
  • Valid and current medical card or insurance equivalent.
  • Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
  • Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result, obtain and maintain a CAC.
  • Applicant must possess a REAL ID-compliant, state-issued driver’s license. 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Completed prerequisite training for Army Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 88M – Motor Transport Operator desired. 

Physical Demands & Work Environment: 

  • Include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, reaching, and operating in tiring positions.
  • Periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
  • Personal protective equipment (e.g., eye protection, gloves) may be required.
