The Enterprise Client Engineering team designs and implements systems for virtual and physical infrastructures across various operating systems. This team enhances productivity and security while reducing costs, downtime, and repetitive processes, delivering industry-leading solutions.

As a Systems Engineer II, responsibilities include managing endpoint security for client systems through software deployments, installations, patching, and security tools. Tasks involve handling EDR, DLP, browser security, and overall security management for Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu endpoints.

As a Systems Engineer II, you will be responsible for (across macOS, Windows and Ubuntu):

  • Utilizing KACE/Tanium and Workspace One to administer solutions across all three OSs and potentially mobile OSs (iOS/iPadOS/Android)
  • Managing endpoint security and administering EDR solutions, including platforms like CrowdStrike, to ensure comprehensive protection and operational efficiency.
  • Managing browser functionality and security across various platforms using extensions and agents.
  • Developing custom scripts using PowerShell, Python, BASH, etc. To aid in the deployment of software.
  • Enforcing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Endpoint Privileged Management (EPM) within a zero-trust model.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Demonstrate 5+ experience in engineering, administration, UEM systems (KACE, JAMF, SCCM, Workspace One, Intune, etc.) + High School Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Demonstrate 23 years of experience collaborating with EDR and DLP security systems or overseeing related platforms like CrowdStrike or Proofpoint.
  • Have good experience in writing technical documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences (SOPs, architectural, administration and support guides, etc.)
  • Demonstrate expertise with Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu through hands-on experience and providing comprehensive support for these operating systems.
  • Demonstrate hands-on expertise across scripting and packaging implementation for macOS, Windows, and Ubuntu operating systems.
  • Manage and troubleshoot virtual machines running on Windows and Ubuntu operating systems effectively and efficiently.
