Job Title: Production Engineer ( Group Leader )
Work Schedule: Full-Time / 3-Shift Rotational System
Location: Istanbul / Tuzla (DESBAS - Free Zone)
Reporting To: Production Manager
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Ajax Systems is the largest European developer and manufacturer of professional security systems. Our back office, R&D center, and two full-cycle manufacturing facilities are located in Ukraine. We also operate branch offices globally: UAE (Dubai), Italy, Spain, Germany, Poland, Canada, and many other regions. Our team comprises over 2,200 employees, including 500+ developers and 1,200+ production workers.
For our expanding manufacturing operations in Istanbul DESBAS (Tuzla), we are looking for SMT Production Engineers to manage our SMT production lines, optimize processes, and lead shift teams within a 3-shift system.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the smooth, orderly, and continuous operation of the SMT production line,

Respond quickly and effectively to technical failures on the SMT line to prevent downtime and line disruptions,

Propose and implement process improvements (Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen) to increase production efficiency and quality,

Prepare maintenance and failure reports and present them to upper management,

Monitor internal processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and quality standards,

Facilitate strong communication across shift teams to achieve department KPIs and performance targets.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or related technical disciplines,

Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience on SMT production lines in the electronics manufacturing industry,

Shift Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work in a 3-shift system,

Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of SMT technology, line layout, rapid troubleshooting/intervention, and maintenance reporting,

Methodologies: Solid understanding of continuous improvement tools (Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, Kaizen, 5S) and ISO 9001 standards,

Language Skills: Business-level fluency in both English and Turkish (written and spoken),

Key Traits: Strong team player, solution-oriented, analytical thinker, responsible, and motivated toward continuous process development.
