How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Provide oversight of all activities related to the maintenance of vehicles in the distribution center in accordance with internal customer requirements, operating budget, schedules and requests issued by managers
  • Coordinates: The Inventory and Purchasing with the allocated budget. Working closely with the mechanics and drivers ensuring that all Maintenance Items are purchased along with controlling the inventory of parts needed to support our preventive maintenance programs. Maintenance the equipment parts room in a clean and orderly fashion and in accordance with standard accepted warehouse procedures. Periodic inventory counts of parts room items to ensure proper identification and re-supply needs. Process incoming parts shipments and organize their storage. Coordinates work orders with the mechanics. Keeps equipment availability records up-to-date, depending on the maintenance required. Is responsible for the month end closure in the MIR and Oracle software

  • Plans and controls maintenance activities: Operates and Administers preventive maintenance system, taking into account cost factors and deadlines. Assists in the Coordination of the maintenance and repair schedules for the distribution vehicles. Orders parts and equipment needed to operate the fleet of trailers. Is responsible for the maintenance of the building and property. Ensures the security of the property by maintaining fences, electrical gates, building access, etc.

  • Ensures an administrative follow-up: Prepares certain reports concerning the follow-up of ISO objectives and the analysis of accounts (cost center, department costs, account chart). Purchases spare parts for maintenance. Creates requisitions and manages supplier accounts. Controls inventory. Reconciles work orders with hours worked, verifies expense accounts and closes all work orders of mechanics in MIR. Tracks and applies warranty and Insurance Claims (equipment and parts).

  • Safety/Quality: Participate in Monthly Safety Meetings and Emergency Response Planning for the Terminal. Supports Terminal Manager and assistant fleet maintenance manager in all Safety functions at the facility.

  • Process improvement: Works in cooperation with his/her team and cross-functional teams to continuously improve work processes. Analyzes his/her activities, identifies causes for problems and proposes appropriate corrective measures.

Are you a MATCH?

  • Strong Computers Skills within SAP , Google Sheets/Excel will be an asset

  • Knowledge of Purchase Ordering/Supply Chain systems

  • Experience in parts background is preferred

  • Must be able to maintain a safe, reasonably clean and organized work environment

  • Good Decision-making skills & Planning skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic within a Team

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
