Job Description

  • Responsible for managing, monitoring, and coordinating the repair and overhaul of airline-owned and leased engines, modules, and Class 1 material assets.
  • Review reasons and conditions for asset removals from aircraft.
  • Collect and verify removal reports, BSI findings, and on-wing data before sending to shop.
  • Participate in vendor and service provider evaluation/selection based on capability, quality, regulatory compliance, and company requirements.
  • Work and negotiate with vendors and service providers for the repair of unserviceable assets.
  • Evaluate repair quotations and perform cost-benefit analysis for repair vs. replacement decisions.
  • Ensure repair orders are correctly issued, approved, and executed in compliance with repair requirements.
  • Review on a weekly basis all shop findings, workscope reports, and cost estimates for accuracy and compliance.
  • Track repair progress to ensure assets return to service within operational timelines.
  • Review weekly report of the removal and shop visit update with the Airline's representative.
  • Respond promptly to customer, vendor, and repair shop communications.
  • Support vendor registration process as per the Airline policy and requirements.
  • Participate in review of the repairs with customers and prepare reports as required by customers.
  • Deliver the needs of any other tasks as instructed and relevant to the role and the Asset Repair Team.
  • Coordinate with lessors, OEMs, and independent MROs on lease, swap, and return conditions.
  • Evaluate vendor performance in terms of cost, quality, and TAT.
  • Contribute to strategic projects such as leasing, pooling, and optimization programs.
  • Support development of repair strategies, SLAs, and long-term vendor agreements.
  • Execute other tasks as assigned, relevant to the role and Asset Repair Team.
  • Strengthen Asia Digital Engineering (ADE) brand image and customer advocacy.
  • Promote ADE’s culture and values internally and externally.
  • Drive process improvements in repair cycle management and asset utilization.
  • Ensure due diligence, completeness, accuracy, and timely delivery of all assigned actions.
  • Strive for excellence in execution of responsibilities and duties.
  • Supervise subordinates and ensure assigned tasks are delivered effectively.
  • Remain hands-on and responsive to operational urgencies.
  • Be a team player with strong networking, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning and self-development.
