In this role, you will be responsible for driving and further developing our central controlling landscape, ensuring transparency around Head Office costs, allocations, and Group-wide reporting processes. Combining analytical thinking with a proactive mindset, you will help strengthen our financial governance while actively contributing to the transformation and simplification of our finance organization.
How you'll make an impact
- Lead the transformation of central Group processes and provide Executive Management with a clear roadmap for the continuous improvement of reporting structures
- Take full ownership of the planning, controlling, and reporting of all central activities, including Group Charges, Head Office cost controlling, and Management Fee allocations
- Contribute to the Group's strategic objectives by establishing and maintaining a robust cost controlling framework that provides transparency across the UK and European markets
- Strengthen cost center allocation methodologies and drive the harmonization of management reporting across Group entities
- Lead productivity initiatives and support cost optimization efforts in close collaboration with local Branches and business stakeholders
- Coordinate closely with Group Accounting and local Finance teams to ensure high data quality and consistency across reporting systems
- Drive simplification and digitalization initiatives by promoting agile ways of working and reducing process complexity
How you'll make an impact
What it takes to succeed in this role
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in Accounting or FP&A within an international environment
- Several years of relevant experience within Insurance / Financial Services
- Hands-on mentality with a proactive, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and actively contribute new ideas and perspectives
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across different functions and management levels
- Safe handling of MS-Office products and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, additional foreign languages are a plus
