About the Role
This role is responsible for implementing and managing employee benefits program in accordance with the company policy and statutory standardsRole and Responsibilities:
The role of the HR Benefits Consultant is expected to execute at operational levels the company-initiated benefit and statutory benefits administration such as.
- Group medical and group life insurance.
- Pension and retirement benefits
- Loan facilities
- Car loan and car programs.
- SSS sickness and maternity
- Statutory loans
The role will be responsible for the overall delivery of benefits services in all the legal entities of AIA in the Philippines. The role will work closely with the Benefits Specialist of MediCard to ensure consistent and positive employee experience. This role will work with the Associate Director, HR Service Delivery to ensure alignment of the HRSD goals and priority areas. The key expectations include managing the end-to-end execution of the benefits services processes, any automation or process efficiency projects, and other similar initiatives.
The role is expected to exhibit HR process knowledge, possesses a broad-based operational perspective, and provides solutions for related HR and compliance risk issues. The person must be a recognized HR leader, who is a dynamic, proactive and decisive person. He/she should adapt well and manage change in the organization. The key traits for the individual in this position are: good communication and stakeholder management skills, team player, change agent, creative, and the ability to drive performance from his or her team.
The role will be responsible in managing the benefits vendors for ESPP, Pension and Retirement, Pension administrator (BPI Wealth and Zalamea), Statutory benefits as well as building a strong relationship with our statutory agencies.
The role will be responsible in managing the Company in-house Clinics and ensure compliance with the OHS requirements.
The role will be responsible in developing employee communication strategies to ensure employees are well informed about their benefits and options, including organizing sessions/roadshows and creating benefits guides.
The role will also perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of demonstrated experience in the areas of benefits administration, and other HR service delivery functions.
- Knowledgeable of the Philippines statutory and labor regulations.
- With excellent skills in using Microsoft applications (Excel, Macro, Powerpoint, etc); With working knowledge in using Workday and an automated SAP Payroll system.
