About the Role

To accurately process and assess life insurance claims in accordance with company policies, service standards, and regulatory requirements. The role supports the claims operations team by ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness in claims handling for the Hong Kong and Macau markets.

Are you a Health Science or Biomedical graduate exploring a career beyond laboratory, research, or hospital settings?

This opportunity allows you to apply your understanding of medical terminology, health conditions, and clinical documentation within the life insurance industry. As an Associate in Life Claims Assessment, you will review and assess life insurance claims for the Hong Kong & Macau market, ensuring that each claim is handled accurately, fairly, and efficiently.

We welcome:

  • Fresh graduates from Health Science, Biomedical Science, or closely related disciplines; or

  • Experienced candidates with a background in Life Insurance Claims.

Core Responsibilities

  • Process and assess life insurance claims in compliance with company guidelines, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Ensure claims decisions are properly documented, transparent, and traceable.
  • Meet performance expectations for quality, turnaround time, and productivity.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of claims procedures, product knowledge, and policy terms.
  • Demonstrate initiative to develop technical and analytical skills to handle wider claims scope and higher authority levels.
  • Exhibit a strong customer-centric mindset by ensuring empathetic, professional, and timely communication in all interactions.

Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in departmental or organizational initiatives that enhance claims efficiency, process quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support knowledge sharing and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.
  • Perform other duties or ad hoc assignments as directed by management to support business objectives.

Job Requirements:

  • A degree in Health Science, Biomedical Science, Medical Science, Biotechnology, Biology, or a closely related discipline; or relevant Life Claims experience

  • Able to read and write Chinese and English to review documents and support claims operations for the Hong Kong & Macau market.

  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to interpret medical and policy-related information

  • A customer-focused and empathetic approach

  • Willingness to learn and build a long-term career in insurance claims
