JOB PURPOSE
Preparing, compiling, and coordinating high-quality Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals and Asset Registers related to Electrical & ELV systems within a construction project.
Gathering technical information from material submittals, drawings, reports and any other project documentation.
Liaising with engineering teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure all electrical documentation is technically accurate, compliant, and delivered in line with project requirements.
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
Degree or Diploma in Building Services Engineering, or related field.
5 Years’ experience in technical report writing or preparation of O&M Manuals & Asset Registers within construction.
Familiarity with Electrical & ELV systems including (but not limited to) HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Power, Lighting Control, Building Management System Fire Alarm, ICT, Central Battery and Specialist Systems.
Experience working with construction project documentation, technical drawings, and specifications.
Knowledge of relevant UAE, KSA and international standards (CIBSE, NFPA, etc.).
Strong technical writing and editing skills.
Good understanding of Electrical & ELV building systems and maintenance principles.
Ability to review and interpret Electrical & ELV drawings, schematics, schedules, and technical specifications.
Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PDF editing tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality

Able to work independently on complex tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Technically author system descriptions, collate data sheets and compile O&M Manuals for Electrical & ELV Systems in accordance with project and client requirements.
Coordinate with sub-contractors and develop the operational, maintenance & fault-finding procedures for the respective equipment or system as a part of the O&M Manual.
Review technical submittals, drawings, schematics, testing & commissioning documents, spare parts and warranties for inclusion in the O&M Manuals.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance of technical content with project standards and industry best practices.
Gather asset-related data from the supply chain including subcontractors, suppliers, commissioning teams, and project documentation to develop high-quality asset registers.
Coordinate with the Document Control & Quality Assurance teams and liaise with the client’s technical review team to ensure timely submission and acceptance of the O&M Manuals and Asset Registers
Respond to comments received from the client’s project team.
