About this role

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop SECS/GEM Factory Automation solutions.
  • Lead the customer engagement with a cross-functional team during various phases of the:
    • Solutions life cycle: Requirements discovery, solution design, code development, on-site integration & support.
    • Sales process: Technical pre-sales, demos, value positioning, implementation, and installation.

Advanced Responsibilities:

  • Uncover customer challenges and goals (e.g., enabling automation, improving yield, reducing power consumption, shortening TTM.
  • Translate Advantest technical capabilities and advantages to customer’s business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Services Sales team, and local account teams.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Computer Science (BSCS), or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of experience in engineering or production disciplines.
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, communication skills, & technical sales / support experience.
  • Travel within or outside US for project integration.

Industry Skills Required:

  • Semiconductor test industry knowledge including SECS/GEM factory automation.
  • Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) tester platforms.
  • A deep understanding of key customers to align our solutions with their current & future manufacturing process.

Software Skills:

  • Software development experience in C++, Qt, Tcl/Tk, Python, Perl, Java, & SQL databases.
  • Linux system administration & development environment including Linux shell commands & scripts, and networking.

Desired skills / experience:

  • Technical sales experience.
  • Basic understanding of SECS/GEM & 300mm SEMI standards including E5, E30, E40, E94.
  • Advantest V93000 (V93K) tester, the SmarTest tester operating system, and V93K Production APIs.
  • Production support experience in a fab or production software applications.
