Position Summary

Extensive experience in a senior engineer role for the facilities organization in an industrial set-up. Expected fundamental roles & responsibilities include and handle critical building concerns/problems, construction projects, improvement tasks, facilities maintenance, government compliance, coordination with the landlord, and coordination with multiple cross-functional teams & stakeholders for the design engineering center and offices.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations and supply of utilities to support EW facilities operations.
  • Responsible for operations and maintenance of Eastwood facility and facilities-related equipment and system.
  • Supervise the facility's services such as cleaning, waste disposal, general upkeep, and maintenance.
  • Planning, coordinating and overseeing contractors who execute maintenance tasks on equipment and infrastructure.
  • Monitor and control budget expenses of facility operation and maintenance.
  • Work with users/customers on facilities-related repairs, enhancement works, and renovation projects
  • Propose or design a new layout based on operational requirements, and oversee the implementation of workplace reconfiguration and quality controls.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, building codes, and environmental, health, and safety standards and support various company-level audits from the facility’s perspective.

 

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess Bachelor’s /College Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Preferably 8 to 10 years of work experience as a senior facilities engineer in an industrial set-up.

  • Professional License (Passed Board/License Exam) is an advantage.

  • Work experience in leading facilities team of 3rd party facilities technicians, janitorial services, security services, and contractors.

  • Facilitate the monthly meeting of the Eastwood Facilities team

  • Attends or facilitates the improvement of construction progress update meetings with internal and external stakeholders

  • Require to monitor the operations of both the Design Engineering Center in TechnoPlaza One Bldg. and Finance/IT/HR/Global Operations offices in 1800 Bldg.

  • Need to respond to emergency facility-related situations

  • Good communication skills, both written and oral with English and leadership skills.

  • Sound knowledge of building maintenance, mechanical and electrical (M&E) operations, and maintenance, technical services, or construction projects

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes of a government agenc

  • Familiar with AutoCad, MS project, and MS office software

  • Familiar with the building management system will be an added advantage

  • Project management skills.

  • Analytical skills to perform engineering calculations for design and troubleshooting
