Summary: 

As a program integrated master scheduler and coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, scheduling, and supervising program tasks and milestones throughout the production process or program lifecycle using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Suite of tools. 

You will ensure that all the different processes and schedules being set by an organization are followed judiciously to attain great efficiency. Your job description will include providing planning administration including scheduling, performance monitoring, analysis, reporting, personnel planning, resource management, and capacity planning.

You will be required to develop baseline execution schedules, maintain the in-work schedules, perform critical path analysis and what-if planning, and support the delivery of CDRL deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, ensuring that all tasks are planned and organized effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Assess project length and allocate resources efficiently to optimize productivity and project outcomes, ability to develop resource loaded schedules as a CDRL deliverable.
  • Track program progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Lead planning and development of schedules.
  • Establish demand and planning time fences.
  • Controls planning data, lead times, order quantities, etc.
  • Ensure that the company achieves and maintains the highest possible Customer rating for satisfaction for on time delivery.
  • Drive, promote and develop positive communication with Operations to improve.
  • Recognize marketplace requirements and create an environment in which the use of effective scheduling logic simultaneously produces realistic master schedules and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor/maintain accuracy and integrity of MPS input information (forecasts, order reconciliation).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with developing, managing, and integrating large project schedules to develop an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) / Integrated Master Plans (IMP)
  • Monitoring the execution of milestones, key events, and significant accomplishment criteria, and supporting multiple project and program schedules to effectively communicate to all levels in the portfolio.
  • Preparing and presenting briefings on schedule status and health to varying levels of management, and performing schedule, scope, and cost risk analyses to determine a probabilistic schedule and cost at project completion.
  • Demonstrated experience on programs with responsibility for development and execution of the IMS, including setup, baseline management and update/maintenance, schedule analysis, critical path analysis, SRAs, and CDRL deliveries.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of tools to coordinate with the risk management lead, act as a trusted advisor using both traditional and innovative analysis methods and assessments to develop and provide guidance and roadmaps for risk mitigation and opportunity realization.
  • Knowledge of common scheduling and data analysis tools and methodologies, including advanced level operator of Microsoft Excel and Project
  • Knowledge of Schedule health metrics, including EVM, DMCA 14 Point Assessment, and statistical testing models.
  • Familiarity and experience with Deltek Costpoint 
  • Experience with SharePoint and presentation level schedules and integration of schedules into PowerPoint briefings.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, team building and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of C5ISR systems and architectures (nice to have).
  • Experience in DoD acquisition (or similar) and program management processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands & Work Environment: 

  • Work is performed in an office setting.
  • May occasionally be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) during the course of the workday.
