Job DetailsJob Location: Midland - Midland, TX 79707The Field Service Specialist (FSS) will perform a variety of equipment-related tasks with Rotating Control Devices (RCD), and Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) equipment including drilling Chokes, valves, piping and hydraulic control panels. In addition, the FSS will assist with inventory control, equipment maintenance, collaborating with the shop team to provide timely support for field operations. This role also includes installing, repairing, and removing all rental equipment during peak customer demand. The FSS will work closely with Multi Service Specialists to ensure smooth operations. The Technician will be responsible for ensuring safety compliance while executing tasks efficiently and to assist the MSS / Field Supervisor / Operations Manager with any task assigned.

Roles & Responsibilities within the Base

Assist in preparing and loading jobs in addition to cleaning, inspecting, and refurbishing equipment.
Perform work in accordance to standard operating procedures and ensure compliance to industry standards.
Paint equipment in accordance to specifications
Pick up/deliver parts as assigned by manager
Operate crane and/or forklift to load and unload jobs.
Clean, service, and refurbish tools daily as required by supervisor.
Assembly and disassembly of tools relative to services provided per location.
Maintain clean work environment
Know and understand Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Update truck inventory daily.

Roles & Responsibilities while supporting Field

Perform installation services for Rotating Control Devices (RCD) and service tools in the field
Knowledge of product lines, product applications and wellsite equipment
Provide excellent customer service to our clients by troubleshooting and quickly resolving issues
Provide sound technical advice and products recommendations based on customers’ operational requirements
Good safety practices at all times
Perform various other duties as assigned by MSS / Base Supervisor / Field Supervisor

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic MS Outlook, Word and Excel computer skills
1-3 yrs related field experience
Valid Driver license
Good oral and written communication skills
General product knowledge
Mechanical ability necessary to perform repairs

Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative
Must be able to follow instructions
Able to work closely with fellow employees
Mechanical ability necessary to perform repairs
Strong problem-solving ability and adaptability.
Proficient in using and reading basic measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools
