The role combines production surveillance, well-performance analysis, artificial-lift optimization, well-intervention support, forecasting, and field-based troubleshooting in close coordination with Operations, Reservoir, Drilling, Maintenance, HSE, and service partners.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily production and identify losses, constraints and underperforming wells.
- Analyze well tests, pressures, temperatures, flow rates and fluid data to diagnose production problems.
- Recommend and evaluate changes to chokes, operating conditions and artificial-lift systems, including ESP, gas lift, rod pump and PCP.
- Identify and support well interventions, workovers, stimulation, scale removal, sand control and water shut-off activities.
- Prepare forecasts, production-engineering studies and optimization recommendations, and support commissioning and restoration work.
- Maintain accurate well-performance data and coordinate solutions with Operations, Reservoir, Drilling, Maintenance, HSE and service providers.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 8-12 years of production-engineering or operations experience, with strong field exposure.
