Job Summary:
Leads the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of ADES oil and gas production assets in Syria. The role is accountable for achieving production targets, maximizing facility availability and uptime, maintaining operational and process-safety standards, coordinating maintenance and reliability activities, and developing production teams and contractors across wells, gathering systems, processing facilities, utilities, storage, and export operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead daily oil, gas and water production in line with ADES QHSSE requirements, approved procedures and applicable regulations.
- Monitor production performance, constraints, downtime and deferment, and drive timely recovery and optimization actions.
- Coordinate operations across wells, gathering systems, processing facilities, utilities, storage and export points.
- Align preventive and corrective maintenance, shutdowns and asset-integrity priorities with Maintenance, Engineering and HSE.
- Lead supervisors, operators and contractors, maintaining clear accountability, safe staffing and workforce competence.
- Report operational KPIs, risks and costs, and manage budgets and contractor performance without compromising safety or reliability.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 15 years of upstream production experience, including 5 years in a production leadership role.
- Strong onshore experience covering production facilities from wellhead to export.
- Sound knowledge of production planning, process safety, reliability, maintenance coordination and cost control.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, with strong leadership, decision-making and stakeholder-management skills.
