As a Maintenance Manager, you will not only manage our facility’s physical plant, but you will also help shape the future workforce. You will lead our maintenance department while mentoring, training, and working alongside Job Corps students gaining real-world work experience. Your Impact & Key Responsibilities

Lead Facility Operations: Manage all building and equipment maintenance through strategic planning, budget control, and scheduling.
Mentor Future Professionals: Supervise and train Job Corps’ Work-Based Learning students assigned to your department, helping them build hands-on career skills.
Oversee Quality Control: Manage all subcontracted facility work, prepare scopes of work, and ensure third-party projects meet local, company, and government standards.
Drive Preventive Maintenance: Develop and manage the Center’s energy conservation plans and run an efficient, computerized work order system.
Build a Strong Team: Recruit, train, motivate, and retain high-performing maintenance staff while fostering a supportive and accountable work environment.
Collaborate Globally: Partner with Center Management and Career Technical Training (CTT) instructors to coordinate construction projects and integrate student learning into daily maintenance tasks.

What You Bring to the Table

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. A degree from an accredited school or technical certification is preferred.
Experience: Three (3) or more years of supervisory experience in facility maintenance or construction.
License: A valid Electrician, HVAC, and/or Plumbing license is highly preferred.
Skills: Strong communication skills, sound problem-solving abilities, excellent delegation, and a commitment to data integrity and student success.
Physical Ability: Capability to sit, stand, climb, walk, lift up to 40 pounds, reach, stoop, and crouch as needed to inspect and support facility needs.
