Position Summary

Execution of the regional supply chain management activities for the BU (Business Unit). Owns and Executes Regional BU Sales and Operations Plan Processes. Coordinates the activities of the Customer Service and Logistics department for a business unit at the regional level. Management of the order from its entry to its delivery (customer relations, supplier relations, inbound, warehousing, outbound & invoicing).

Responsibilities will include:

Order to Cash Owner:
•    Owner of the Regional BU order to cash process from Customer Service, through and including logistics coordination and validation.   
•    Daily monitoring of the Regional BU order bookings.  Periodic updating of leadership on order pacing within the month. 
•    Engagement with Sales as a Single Point of Contact for all Order to Cash related concerns.    Responsible for proactive communication with Regional BU leadership on all Order to Cash related issues.
•    Responsible for achieving the best possible OTIF, and managing the downstream customer experience
•    Acts as a connector to other stakeholder groups such as invoicing and warehousing as well as the shared service team.
•    Assures compliance with global operational standards, procedures and policies.
•    First line of triage for all Regional BU related operational issues.

Plan to Deliver / Produce Owner:
•    Owner of the BU plan to produce/deliver process including inventory management and target setting, S&OP, and purchase order creation and follow-up.
•    Daily monitoring of inbound materials from departure through warehouse or customer receipt. 
•    Engagement with sites as appropriate to manage outbound shipment expectations through schedule attainment or other appropriate monitoring approaches. 
•    Acts as a Single Point of Contact for sales for all inbound material related concerns.  Coordinate with sales to align inventory strategy.   Coordinate with sales on route to market discussions.   Supports estimation of landed costs.  
•    Responsible for achieving the best possible inventory turns while maintaining the best downstream customer experience
•    Acts as a connector to other stakeholder groups including SCM process owners and centers of excellence within Actylis.   
•    Responsible for implementing and executing regional BU S&OP 
•    Assures compliance with global operational standards, procedures and policies.
•    First line of triage for all BU related inventory issues 

People:
•    Coordination of a Regional BU operations team, increasing the skills of employees, supporting change management, setting up integration and training procedures.
•    Responsible for development plan for all direct operational reports.
•    Management of planning & resources availability

Monitoring and setting up indicators:
•    Support for the implementation of KPIs.
•    Activity reporting: ensure the forecast accuracy.
•    Set up Business unit reporting & communication.

MANAGERIAL AND HR RESPONSIBILITIES

  •    Develop both managerial and technical skills—personally and within the team—by leveraging internal and external training resources, as well as participation in professional networks where relevant.
    •    Set clear, measurable goals for team members, and ensure regular follow-up using appropriate performance indicators.
    •    Actively participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new employees in collaboration with the HR department.
    •    Foster employee engagement by building a climate of trust, delegating appropriately, providing constructive feedback, and supporting professional development.
    •    Implement disciplinary measures when necessary, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and legal frameworks.
    •    Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth communication and effective coordination across business functions.

 

Required Experience & Knowledge

  •    Minimum 5-8 years operational experience in a logistics and/or customer service or supply chain planning
    •    First experience in management or transactional management
    •    Bachelor’s Degrees with preference in Business, or Supply Chain Management
    •    A preference for supply chain certification by industry organizations (such as ASCM)

 

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC.:

  •    Eager to learn. 
    •    Leadership 
    •    Strong MS Office skills, including expertise MS Excel 
    •    Proficiency in ERP software - Technology tools expertise: SAGE 
    •    Excellent interpersonal skills 
    •    Working knowledge of databases and tools 
    •    Verbal and written communication skills 
    •    Comfortable with incoterms 
    •    Work in a fast-changing environment with international contacts 
    •    Operational management
    •    Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus
