Job Description

Porters

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and assist with luggage, valet parking and hotel entry.

  • Provide friendly, efficient service and assist with guest requests, bookings and messages.

  • Promote hotel facilities, activities and special offers.

  • Maintain clean front-of-house areas and support daily hotel operations.

  • Communicate effectively with the team to ensure a smooth guest experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • Friendly, professional and guest-focused attitude.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Reliable, flexible and able to work weekends and public holidays.

  • Physically fit and comfortable handling guest luggage.

  • Previous hospitality/customer service experience is an advantage — full training provided.

  • Full NZ driver’s licence required for valet parking; licence checks apply.

 

Room Attendants

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean guest rooms and public areas to a high standard.

  • Replenish guest supplies and maintain room presentation.

  • Follow lost property, key security and guest room procedures.

  • Complete allocated cleaning and laundry duties.

  • Safely use and maintain cleaning equipment and chemicals.

  • Follow all hotel health, safety and cleanliness standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience will be advantageous.

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.

  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual cleaning tasks.

  • Reliable, organised and well-presented.

  • Flexible to work weekends and public holidays.

 

Food & Beverage Attendant

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver friendly, professional service in a busy hotel environment.

  • Create positive guest experiences and Heartist Moments.

  • Work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team.

  • Maintain high standards of service, presentation and reliability.

  • Support daily Food & Beverage operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Friendly, professional and guest-focused attitude.

  • Excellent communication and time management skills.

  • Previous Food & Beverage experience is an advantage.

  • Reliable, positive and willing to learn.

  • Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

These positions are not sponsored roles. Applicants must already have a valid visa allowing them to work in New Zealand.
