Summary:
As a ServiceNow Senior Developer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing application releases and maintaining system stability to ensure seamless operation. Daily activities also involve utilizing standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while preserving compatibility and optimal performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to understand needs and implement effective adjustments is a key part of the work routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective application configurations.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Document configuration changes and maintain clear records to support knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices to foster professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
- Strong understanding of application configuration and customization within packaged or software as a service environments.
- Experience working with application programming interfaces to integrate and extend platform capabilities.
- Familiarity with low-code development platforms to efficiently implement business solutions.
- Ability to manage application release cycles and ensure system stability through proactive monitoring and issue resolution.
- Skilled in analyzing business needs and translating them into technical configurations that maintain system compatibility and performance.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
