About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi

As the Platform Manager, ITSM, you will provide strategic ownership of ACC’s ServiceNow ITSM platform, ensuring it remains secure, stable, scalable and aligned with organisational priorities. Working closely with technology leaders, service management stakeholders and delivery teams, you will define platform strategy and roadmap priorities, oversee major upgrades and integrations, and ensure the platform delivers measurable business value. This is an opportunity to influence enterprise-wide service management outcomes that support ACC’s mission of helping keep Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between. 

 

The appointing salary for this role is $117,787 to $152,430 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance. 

 

 

About you | Mōu

You will bring:

  • Extensive experience working with ServiceNow or a comparable enterprise ITSM platform.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL service management practices, including incident, problem, change, request and CMDB processes.
  • Experience in platform ownership, product ownership, business analysis or service management leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to manage complex backlogs and balance competing operational, delivery and strategic priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working within agile delivery environments and translating business requirements into practical platform outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data, trends and insights to drive decision making.
  • A collaborative leadership style, curiosity, accountability and customer focus.
  • Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in organisational systems, processes and service delivery.
  • You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.
