POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Community School Program Aide will be responsible for assisting in the outreach and collaborative efforts, supporting primarily Attendance and assisting with direction from Community School Director. Support extended recreational school activities. Help with the planning and implementation events, activities and school support. Keeps track of Program Attendance and Supports Program director and Assistant Director in the office and program functions. Bronx, 10452


KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: 

  • Assist In the Implementation of Community School Program Services.
  • Support Attendance Initiative 
  • Support Office Needs, Program Inventory and Program Needs. 
  • Serves As Program Liaison and Assists with Communication and Community Outreach Efforts.
  • Assist In Support and the Supervision of Program Activities and Events. 
  • Able To React to Change Productively and Handle Other Essential Tasks Assigned by CSD And Assistant Director 
  • Assist CSD with planning, implementation support development through communication with Parent coordinator and or other staff 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum High School Diploma required; College preferred. 
  • Two (2) years of experience providing educational/recreational activities for children. 
  • Ability to interact in a supportive and nurturing manner with both children and parents. 
  • Bilingual – English and Spanish a Plus
