Data Engineer (.NET / Kafka / ETL)

abra professional services is seeking a Data Engineer (.NET / Kafka / ETL) !
In this role, you will design and develop data services across cloud and on-premises environments. The position requires strong expertise in C# and .NET Core development, hands-on experience with Kafka, relational databases, and ETL processes, as well as the ability to work with modern data technologies.
This is a full-time position located in central Israel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Data Services, microservices, and Web APIs using C# and .NET Core.
- Develop services and applications that consume and produce data using Kafka.
- Build data processing, streaming, and querying solutions in an AWS cloud environment.
- Develop and maintain complex ETL processes using Alteryx.
- Lead data process migrations, including migrations from SSIS to Alteryx.
- Work with databases including SQL Server, Teradata, and Redshift.
Requirements
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in Backend development using C# and .NET Core – mandatory.
- Hands-on development experience with Kafka, including Producers and Consumers – mandatory.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server – mandatory.
- Experience working with ETL processes – mandatory.
- Basic experience with Web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS – mandatory.
- Strong self-learning capabilities and ability to quickly learn new Data technologies and tools – mandatory.
Advantages:
- Familiarity with AngularJS and/or jQuery.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including S3, Redshift, Athena, and Lambda.
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud.
- Experience working with SSIS.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
