abra professional services is seeking a Data Engineer (.NET / Kafka / ETL) !

In this role, you will design and develop data services across cloud and on-premises environments. The position requires strong expertise in C# and .NET Core development, hands-on experience with Kafka, relational databases, and ETL processes, as well as the ability to work with modern data technologies.

This is a full-time position located in central Israel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Data Services, microservices, and Web APIs using C# and .NET Core.
  • Develop services and applications that consume and produce data using Kafka.
  • Build data processing, streaming, and querying solutions in an AWS cloud environment.
  • Develop and maintain complex ETL processes using Alteryx.
  • Lead data process migrations, including migrations from SSIS to Alteryx.
  • Work with databases including SQL Server, Teradata, and Redshift.


Requirements

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Backend development using C# and .NET Core – mandatory.
  • Hands-on development experience with Kafka, including Producers and Consumers – mandatory.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server – mandatory.
  • Experience working with ETL processes – mandatory.
  • Basic experience with Web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS – mandatory.
  • Strong self-learning capabilities and ability to quickly learn new Data technologies and tools – mandatory.

Advantages:

  • Familiarity with AngularJS and/or jQuery.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including S3, Redshift, Athena, and Lambda.
  • Hands-on experience with Alteryx.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • Experience working with SSIS.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
