abra Finance is seeking an Assistant Controller.
We are looking for a motivated CPA with a strong accounting background to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for professionals looking to make their first move from a Big 4 accounting firm into a publicly traded technology company, while gaining broad exposure to financial reporting, controllership, and process improvement.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Ra'anana, Israel.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Manage tax reporting and ensure compliance with local authorities.
- Work closely with external auditors and advisors throughout the audit process.
- Monitor internal controls and support the implementation of financial control processes.
- Support budget preparation, variance analysis, and ad-hoc financial analyses.
- Assist in improving financial workflows and accounting processes.
Requirements
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – mandatory.
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting or financial control.
- Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
