Legal Counsel – IT & Data Protection (all genders)

• Provide independent legal advice on data protection matters in day-to-day business as well as on strategic and project-related topics, particularly at the intersection of IT and e-commerce
• Provide legal support in the development and implementation of e-commerce projects, IT systems, business processes, and contracts at both national and international level
• Advise on general legal matters relating to e-commerce
• Provide data protection support on complex national and international transactions and restructurings
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across various departments as well as external law firms
• Work directly with and regularly exchange with the Director of Legal & Compliance

• Successfully completed law studies and passed both German State Examinations in Law; ideally with at least one exam graded “fully satisfactory” (vollbefriedigend) or above
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience, e.g., at an internationally operating law firm or an international company
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Strong affinity for technology and a keen interest in quickly familiarizing yourself with new digital and legal topics
• Structured and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to quickly grasp complex matters and communicate them in a clear and comprehensible way
• Strong team player with flexibility and initiative, and an interest in working with diverse stakeholders in a dynamic and international environment
