SUMMARY%0AThe Lead Inspector will ensure that all incoming and outgoing materials go through the proper levels of inspection, according to both AAR and ISO 9000 standards.%0A%0AESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES %0A- Lead outgoing and/or incoming inspection.%0A- Process incoming and outgoing material.%0A- Enforce Quality Control requirements per the ISO 9000 and customer requirements per the %0AISO 9000 and customer requirements manual.%0A- Administer effective training and on the job training of Quality Control inspectors.%0A- Assist Quality Manager in reviewing and updating department standards.%0A- Interface with different departments in AAC/ATC%0A- All other duties as assigned.%0A%0ACORE COMPETENCIES%0ACommitment to company values and ethics%0ADependability: personally responsible, completes work in a timely manner, and performs tasks accurately%0AMotivation: must maintain a positive attitude and strong work energy%0AOrganization: very detail oriented and always comes prepared%0ACommunication: excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills%0AInitiative: plans work and carries out tasks without detailed instructions, prepares for problems or opportunities in advance, undertakes additional responsibilities%0AStrong judgment and decision making

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - FAA A&P License required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The environmental characteristic for this position is a warehouse setting. Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional warehouse environment. - Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and comply with OSHA standards
