As a member of our Primary Care department, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive medical care, developing patient-centered treatment plans, and enhancing patient wellness. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive health assessments and evaluations
- Develop individualized patient care plans and treatment strategies
- Manage chronic and acute medical conditions
- Perform routine examinations and preventive care procedures
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care
- Document patient progress and treatment details accurately
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Florida
- Experience in primary care or relevant clinical settings
- Strong understanding of patient-centered care principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient health
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Schedule: 8a-5p, Monday-Friday
1 week of call coverage per year
Daily Volume: 18-22 patients
Current Team: 4 MDs
Full subspecialty support
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
