In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of ear, nose, and throat disorders while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. As a vital member of our team, you will contribute to innovative treatment plans and patient education, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for our patients in the Lafayette area.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients
- Diagnose and manage various conditions related to otolaryngology
- Perform surgical procedures as needed to treat ear, nose, and throat disorders
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options and preventative care
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training
- Stay updated on advancements in otolaryngology and medical practices
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Active medical license to practice in the state
- Completion of residency in Otolaryngology
- Experience in an associate capacity preferred
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
Position Highlights:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
- No call required
- Cases: Bread-and-butter ENT
- Support Staff: APPs
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible
