This full-time, on-site position provides a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic medical practice, contributing to the health and well-being of our community through exceptional orthopedic care.
As a member of our Orthopedic Surgery department, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating orthopedic conditions, performing surgical interventions, and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and diagnose orthopedic conditions
- Perform surgical procedures and postoperative management
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
- Educate patients on preventive care and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Participate in departmental meetings and continuing education
- Ensure compliance with medical regulations and protocols
- Contribute to patient satisfaction and quality of care initiatives
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of residency in Orthopedic Surgery
- Active medical license to practice in Powell
- Strong understanding of orthopedic procedures and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to continued professional development and education
- Compassionate approach to patient care
Schedule: 4-5 days per week
Call: ~7 nights per month
Caseload: Total joints, shoulder procedures, knee and hip reconstruction, and general orthopedic surgery
Opportunity to support local athletics
Support Staff: One orthopedic Surgeon
Must be board-certified
DEA required
