As a Gastroenterologist, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal disorders, ensuring optimal health outcomes for our patients. Your expertise will contribute to innovative patient management and treatment plans, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes excellence in healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients
- Diagnose and treat various gastrointestinal disorders
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient care
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in gastroenterology
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
- 1-3 years of clinical experience in Gastroenterology
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5 days per week
Call Coverage: 3 weekends per year
Setting: Multiple locations
4 weeks of inpatient coverage per year
Full subspecialty support
Current Team: 2 motility providers and 1 APP
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Leadership experience or 10+ years of experience required
