Practice Overview:



- Type: Multispecialty Group




- Physicians in Department: 5 (Reduction to 4 in October)



- Operating Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM



Patient Demographics:




- Population Composition: Predominantly young adults with a low percentage of pediatric patients. Primarily includes Medicare and Medicaid recipients.




Clinical Metrics:



- Daily Patient Volume: Office visits range from 15 to 20 per day.



- Births: Approximately 700 yearly, averaging 58 monthly.

Technology and Support:



- EMR System: Utilizes Oracle/Epic for electronic medical records.




- Support Services: Comprehensive support services are in place.



Locum Tenens Schedule:



- Work and Call Responsibilities: Call coverage is required for 2 weekends per month, from Friday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM.




Required Clinical Procedures:



- Procedures to be Performed by Locum Provider:



- Leep procedures
- Colposcopies
- IUD insertion and removal



- Nexplanon insertion and removal
- Endometrial biopsy
- Hospital deliveries




Licensure and Certification Requirements:




- State License: Must hold an active Iowa medical license.




- Board Certification: Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN).




- Experience: Candidates must demonstrate current, active, and recent obstetric experience. ACLS and PALS certification may also be required.
