As a Locum MD in Urology, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating urological conditions in patients, offering support in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and examinations of patients
- Diagnose and manage urological conditions
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in patient education and counseling efforts
- Stay current with medical advancements in urology
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Experience in Urology, preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong diagnostic and treatment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team
- Commitment to patient care and ethical practices
- Flexibility and adaptability in a contract role
Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Call-Requirement: Flexible call shifts
Patient Volume: 10-12 per day
Responsibilities: Bread-and-butter urology cases, cystoscopies, stones, hematuria, etc.
Must be board-certified
