As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive medical care, focusing on preventive care and health management for a diverse patient population. This position allows you to contribute to patient health outcomes and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, enhancing the quality of care provided in our medical practice.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Provide preventive care and chronic disease management
- Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure coordinated care
- Educate patients and families about health and wellness
- Document patient information accurately and promptly
- Stay current with medical best practices and guidelines
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine
- 1-3 years of clinical experience (associate level)
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p)
No call requirement
Patient Census: 14-20 per day
Responsibilities: Examine, diagnose, and treat family/internal medicine patients
Must be board-certified
Any state license accepted
BLS and DEA required
