As a Locum Otolaryngologist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating ailments related to the ears, nose, and throat. You will work closely with our skilled medical staff to provide comprehensive care and ensure patient satisfaction while achieving organizational goals. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose conditions related to otolaryngology
- Provide appropriate treatment plans, including medical and surgical interventions
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate patients and their families on health and wellness topics
- Stay current with advancements in medical practices and technologies
- Participate in ongoing professional education and training
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and practice guidelines
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology
- Associate level experience in a clinical setting
- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to patient-centered care and patient safety
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Call shifts required
Daily Volume: ~25 patients
Caseload: Bread & butter general ENT
Required Procedures: Sinus and nose surgery, plastic skin surgery, scope procedures, excision of small lesions, biopsy, and laser skin lesion procedures
Support Staff: PAs, audiologists, physicians
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
