As a Locum Hospitalist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive medical care to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities



  • Provide high-quality inpatient medical care to hospitalized patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress consistently
  • Ensure timely documentation and updates in medical records
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions and preventive care
  • Respond to medical emergencies in the hospital setting


Requirements



  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Current medical license in good standing in [State]
  • Experience in hospital medicine or related clinical practice
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Commitment to upholding patient confidentiality and ethical standards
  • BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred


Schedule: Day shifts



Patient Volume: 20 per day



Must be board-certified
