Responsibilities
- Provide patient consultations and assessments for hematology oncology cases
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for blood disorders and cancers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain clear and accurate patient medical records
- Advise on the latest treatment protocols and best practices
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
- Engage with families to provide support and education
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Hematology Oncology or eligibility
- Associate level experience in a clinical setting
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of oncology treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Current medical licensure in the state of practice
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
Patient Volume: 14-16 per day
Support Staff: APPs
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
BLS required
