Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients in a family practice setting
• Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
• Perform routine check-ups and wellness examinations
• Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient care
• Educate patients on health management and preventive care
• Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
• Participate in ongoing medical education and professional development
• Adhere to all medical protocols and compliance standards

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Current state medical license to practice in Orangeburg
• Experience in family medicine or primary care is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Previous experience as a locum tenens physician is a plus

Schedule: 8-hour shifts

Patient Volume: 20-25 per day when no residents are in-house

Duties: Teach & supervise residents and clinic coverage

Must be board-certified

Paid expenses & travel
