In this role, you will provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure a safe operative environment
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients
- Conduct patient assessments to determine anesthesia needs
- Stay informed of advancements in anesthesia techniques and protocols
- Ensure compliance with all medical and safety regulations
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an Anesthesiology residency program
- Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
- Availability for on-site, full-time scheduling
- Level II Trauma Center functioning as a Level I Trauma Center
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shifts: 7a-7p, 7a-5p, or 7a-3p
Overnight and 24-hour call shifts available
Shifts available at multiple facilities
Supervising 1-3 ORs under a care team model
Support Staff: CRNAs
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
