Description



This on-site contract position offers a remarkable opportunity to contribute to patient care within a reputable medical practice, providing vital anesthesia services across a variety of surgical procedures.



As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort under anesthesia. Working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia, monitoring patients' vital signs, and providing post-anesthesia care. This position not only allows you to apply your clinical skills but also to make a significant impact on patient outcomes in our community.



Responsibilities



  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop anesthesia plans
  • Evaluate patients pre-operatively to assess anesthesia risks
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during the perioperative process
  • Manage recovery of patients from anesthesia
  • Document patient records and anesthesia management plans accurately
  • Provide education and support for patients and their families
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in anesthesia care


Requirements



  • Associate degree in Nursing with a focus in Nurse Anesthesia
  • Current CRNA certification and state licensure
  • Knowledge of anesthetic agents and techniques
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a high standard of patient care
  • Experience in various surgical modalities is preferred


Schedule: 7a-4p, specific dates



No call requirement



Patient Volume: 13-14 GI cases per day



EMR: G-Gastro



Must be board-certified or board-eligible
