Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) Anesthesiology

As a Locum CRNA, you will play a pivotal role in delivering safe and effective anesthesia care to our patients across a range of procedures. Responsibilities

• Administer anesthetics and monitor patients during surgical procedures
• Provide preoperative assessments and develop anesthesia care plans
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient well-being
• Manage post-anesthesia recovery and provide follow-up care
• Assess patients for any potential complications related to anesthesia
• Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures and safety
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Stay current with best practices in anesthesiology and continuing education

Requirements

• Must hold a valid CRNA certification and state licensure
• Associates degree in Nursing or a related field; Bachelor's preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience in anesthesiology preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
• Must have current ACLS and BLS certifications

Schedule: 40 hours per week, no weekends

Call: 1-2 nights per week

Daily Volume: ~3 cases

Patient Population: All ages and degrees of disability, including trauma

Cases: Bread and butter OB/GYN, pediatric dental, ENT, and orthopedics

Duties: General anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and epidurals

No supervision required

Must be board-certified
