About the role:

We are looking for a dental technician who is familiar with digital dentistry (CAD/CAM design) and has an aspiration to provide feedback to our development team and perform software testing and validation design. Our product is a part of the 3Shape eco-system and provides users with automatic design proposals for a variety of dental products. The core values of the team are to provide high-quality designs in fast and reliable manner. As a team we are responsible for all aspects of our product either it would be algorithms user interface, backend, algorithms, or infrastructure. We maintain a friendly and balanced work environment, prioritizing mutual respect and individual growth. We value proactive thinking and encourage team members to drive positive changes.

As the majority of teams at 3Shape, the team utilizes the Agile methodology as its primary approach to software development.

Areas of responsibility:

• Test and validate automatic design proposals for dental products, ensuring accuracy and clinical relevance

• Perform CAD/CAM design work using digital dentistry tools

• Provide feedback to the development team based on testing outcomes

• Identify and document issues in automated design algorithms

• Collaborate with the team (algorithms, UI, backend, infrastructure) to improve product quality

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to process improvement

• Proactively suggest improvements to workflows, testing, or product features

Your profile:

• Diploma, professional qualification, or practical professional background as a Dental Technician

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Dental Technician

• Strong understanding of dental anatomy, prosthetic workflows and CAD design principles

• Ability to translate dental domain knowledge into clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and expected outcomes

• Ability to actively participate in discussions with development team and define how the expected CAD output should look

• Ability to analyze customer requests and validate input data to ensure readiness for CAD design

• Ability to investigate reported CAD design issues and identify possible causes

• Strong collaboration and communication skills and good in written and spoken English
