About this role

What we're looking for:

We need an experienced product designer with a strong portfolio of beautiful consumer-facing social applications who is passionate about facilitating genuine human connections IRL. You should be comfortable wearing multiple hats across brand and product design, with a track record of building product-led growth features and referral systems. Bonus points if you've previously designed an iOS application currently on the App Store and have strong opinions on the ethics of user psychology in social products.

What you'll do:

Design end-to-end product experiences for 222's consumer social app, from concept through pixel-perfect delivery

Take ownership of the product design function as an early full-time designer, shaping the visual and interaction language of the platform

Work closely with engineering and product leadership to ship features that maximize IRL chance encounters

Build and iterate on product-led growth features and referral systems that drive organic user acquisition

Lead design initiatives across both brand and product, ensuring a cohesive and compelling user experience

Develop and maintain design systems in Figma that scale with the product as it grows

Champion ethical design practices, ensuring the product respects user psychology and promotes meaningful offline connections over addictive digital behaviors
