Chemring Sensors & Electronic Systems (CSES) is a leading supplier of vehicle-mounted ground penetrating radar detection systems, chemical and biological detection systems, and counter-IED electronic countermeasures. The company is organized into three divisions—Counter-IED, 3D-Radar, and Chemical-Biological—each focused on advanced sensor technologies for defense and security. The Counter-IED division designs and produces counter-IED GPR systems, with an ultra-wideband GPR deployed on more than 400 route clearance systems and recognized as a Program of Record by the US Army and Marine Corps. The 3D-Radar division specializes in three-dimensional, step-frequency GPR technology and multi-channel antenna design for applications ranging from infrastructure inspection to IED detection. The Chemical-Biological division manufactures sensor systems that detect and identify chemical, biological, explosive, and narcotics threats, and CSES serves as the supplier for JBPDS and JSLSCAD, as well as the prime contractor for JBTDS, underscoring its role in homeland security, law enforcement, and international markets.
