The machinist is responsible for analyzing specifications, setting up and operating manufacturing equipment, and monitoring production processes. They must also inspect finished parts for defects and perform routine maintenance on shop equipment.
Candidates must have experience with CNC software and operating machinery such as grinders, lathes, and milling machines. Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting up to 75 lbs.
