What You’ll Do
Support, maintain, and enhance applications and utilities built around Blue Yonder Catman, with training provided on the Catman solution and related business processes.
Build and enhance custom tools using .NET and SQL to simplify stakeholder activities, improve productivity, and automate manual processes.
Identify areas of opportunity, determine solution designs, provide advice for system & process enhancements.
Anticipate & manage risks & dependencies for a given functionality by mindful planning, estimation & proactive communication.
Help cross-functional teams to solve for business problems & develop solutions that enable us to redefine a “best-in-class” customer experience.
What You’ll Bring
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on development experience in .NET and related technologies, with strong ability to design, build, test, and support business applications.
Strong proficiency in SQL, database concepts, query optimisation, stored procedures, data analysis, and troubleshooting data-related issues.
Prior Blue Yonder Catman experience is good to have. Candidate must demonstrate willingness and ability to learn Blue Yonder Catman solution, tools, and retail space planning processes on the job.
Exposure to any of the below Blue Yonder Catman applications or tools will be an added advantage: Open Access, JDA Batch Service Installation, Space Planning, Floor Planning, Assortment Optimization, Planogram Generator, Data Manager & Console
Extensive experience in application analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, production support, and documentation.
Support local and global teams by developing technical designs, making application changes, performing configuration updates where needed, and testing enhancements.
Co-ordinate functional requirement gathering and designing activities across multiple teams, Information Technology Groups and business stakeholders to collaboratively develop effective solutions.
Experience with build tools, source control, and CI/CD practices to automate code deployment pipelines.
Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and techniques to streamline business processes, optimise decision-making, and enhance operational efficiency across Space Planning functions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration, including predictive analytics for replenishment, intelligent automation of procurement, and data-driven insights for Space Planning and Assortment Optimization
Stay updated with emerging AI trends and technologies, ensuring the organisation remains at the forefront of innovation in retail and Space Planning application development.
